NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Under new management as of mid-2018 and awaiting branch re-survey.
This large single bar with raised seating by the windows reverted to its original name after a spell as the Frigate & Firkin. First licensed in 1881 and named after Benjamin Disraeli, Lord Beaconsfield. The present pub dates from 1900, when it was rebuilt by the Lacon Brewery at a cost of £6,286. It was the first in the area to be lit by electricity, installation of which cost £125! There's loud and insistent musak of an evening when your surveyor visited; bare floors and windows, and wooden tables and chairs - high by the windows including a small raised section - mainly cream walls, white ceiling with fan, making for a bit of an echoey room. The bar counter is picked out in deep scarlet, almost maroon. Decorative features include red shaded pendant lights over the bar, a selection of wall clocks none actually showing the same or correct time (except twice a day) and a few vinyl albums pinned along a back wall above a mirror. There are tables and chairs outside in the fumes of the occasionally busy Blythe Road, and the former magisterial headquarters of the Post Office Savings Bank looms above you. It's still the local Delivery Office of the Royal Mail, so with some main servicing access into Olympia itself the road does see some heavy vehicle traffic. Having said that it's a mixed local worker (blue and white collar) pub on an early weekday evening.
