NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Rebuilt in 1894 and formerly a Younger's outlet, this pub is popular with office workers, theatregoers and tourists alike. Fronting onto the pedestrianised St Martin's Court, running between Charing Cross Road and St Martin's Lane, it can provide a welcome haven from the bustle of the West End. A menu of traditional pub dishes comes at prices reasonable for the area. A stand-up comedy event is held every Monday evening in the upstairs room which otherwise serves as a restaurant or as a space for private functions.
Historic Interest
The pub has connections with pugilism and freemasonry. American champion boxer John Heenan stayed here when he came to England to fight prize fighter and former Brighton boatman Tom Sayers. It was also where the Lodge of Industry 18G met in 1846.
