About the Pub

A wedge-shaped corner pub, reopened in September 2016 after a period of closure. The Watney, Combe Reid signage remains on the exterior, as do the Saloon Bar and Public Bar signs on the side doors. No real ale unfortunately, but on the plus side no Red Barrel or Watney's Special either. However it was quietly converted to a 'vintage' clothes shop in May 2017 and retrospective planning permission is now sought for A1 retail use was withdrawn.
