NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Situated in the centre of this popular Dales village, the Black Horse is a 17th century inn. It was known as the King William IV until the end of the 18th century and later as the Prince Albert. A room at the rear of the hotel housed the Uppper Wharfedale Museum until it moved to new premises in the square in 1979. The bar area has a bright feel to it and is warmed by a large log fire. An extensive food menu is available in both the main bar and separate dining room. Accommodation comprises of 15 en-suite bedrooms. The Black Horse hosts a local ukulele group on Tuesdays, a quiz on Wednesdays and acoustic artists during an afternoon of the last Sunday of the month.
