A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Virtually at the summit of Shooters Hill, a reputedly haunted pub dating from 1749 (though it was rebuilt in 1881). It consists of 2 quite separate bars (unusual these days) being a public and a saloon with separate street entrance doors. The saloon is well appointed with red carpeting and soft furnishings with rather noticeable heavy wooden original doors to Gents and Ladies both labelled with embossed wooden signs. A circular bar counter provides a central servery to both bars. The public is less well appointed, part carpeted, with bare board flooring in the pool table area and sometimes hosts live music. Clearly CAMRA and real ale oriented from publications on display and the array of pump clips on the wall and bar surround. Seven handpumps in the saloon bar and three in the public bar but cask ales always seem to be dispensed from the saloon bar. Three changing real ales available, sourced from both local and national breweries.
