NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis. At this time, hospitality venues in England are not allowed to open but can operate takeaway and delivery services, providing that any takeaway alcohol is pre-ordered. Details of takeaway and delivery services may appear on this page if we become aware of them.

Before visiting any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub

**From 4th July**

Open for bookings and walk-in customers.

*****************************************************

Antic pub with a moustache as its logo and with shabby chic decor, and with a relaxed, homely ambience - almost romantic come evenings. Its L-shaped bar leads to a conservatory and an open-to-view kitchen. The clientèle is a mixture of local academia, musicians and people out for an enjoyable time meaning it is always thriving up until closing time. A front patio offers outside drinking. Guest beers have a mainly regional focus, including from newly opened microbreweries. Regular live music. The food offering includes steaks, chops and pies. 8 handpumps. Deptford Bridge DLR station is not far away. An associated business Edna & Roy Pizzarola opened in November 2019 in the adjacent property and is accessible through a door from the pub's main front bar and is open Tuesday to Thursday 6pm-midnight, Friday 6pm-1am, Saturday 5pm-1am.
