NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Under this stage of the roadmap in England pubs can only open outdoor areas and many will only be open for customers who have pre-booked. Alcohol can now also be sold for takeaway, as well as delivery.

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub

The Fruiterer’s Arms is a traditional pub that has been in the same family since 1848. The public bar is popular with locals, whilst the lounge offers comfortable seating with a log burner for cold winter evenings. Beers are sourced locally and Barbourne cider is available, all at a reasonable price. Snacks and filled rolls may be available at lunch-times, whilst home-made pickles and local produce can be purchased at the bar. Popular with both cyclists and ramblers alike, dogs are welcome in the public bar, and children until early evening.
