About the Pub

The pub claims to be the location where the famous London Burker’s lured one of their victims; above the underground tunnels where prisoners were kept before taken to trial in the Magistrates Court; and in the building which held the first ever Terence Higgins Trust meeting. Reopened 22 years ago after spending time as a nightclub, There is a charge for those arriving after 11pm on a Friday or 10pm on a Saturday. Mother's bar is a club also located in the building open from 10pm.
