About the Pub

This fine example of a roadside 1920s-style alehouse has a fine interior and features in CAMRA's National Inventory of Pub Interiors. The front bar can be very boisterous at times with large screen for sports whilst the rear rooms are more peaceful. Notice the fine wood panelling and superb fireplace in the rear bar. There is a large smoking area and a garden for alfresco eating in the summer months. Guest beers come from a seasonal portfolio.
